Information you give us. When you complete a form on this site, whether a yacht inquiry, a seller inquiry or the contact form, we receive the details you enter. Depending on the form, that is your name, email address, telephone number, a message, and, if you are selling, details about your boat such as builder, model, year, length and where she lies.
Information about the inquiry. So that a broker can pick up the conversation with context, an inquiry is stored alongside the page it was sent from, the listing or broker it relates to, the page that referred you to this site, any campaign parameters in the web address (for example utm_source), and the time it was sent.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the servers that deliver these pages keep standard technical records of requests, which can include your IP address, the pages requested, and your browser type.
We do not ask for payment card details, government identification, or any other sensitive information anywhere on this site.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and to talk to you about buying or selling a boat.
- To pass your inquiry to the right broker or office.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
- To keep this website working, secure and reliable.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Who sees it
Inquiries are seen by Global One Yacht Sales brokers and staff who need to handle them. They are also handled by the service providers that operate this website and deliver our email. Those providers act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.
Where selling or buying a boat requires it, information may be shared with the other party to a transaction or their representatives, and with anyone we are legally required to disclose it to.
Content from other services
Yacht photography on this site is delivered from the image service that hosts our listing feed, so your browser requests those images from that service. Links to maps, directions, and our social channels open those companies’ own websites, where their privacy notices apply rather than ours.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the address below or call any of our offices and we will deal with it.
If you no longer want to hear from a broker, tell them or tell us, and we will stop contacting you.
